Cat6 cable is recommended for longer distance, however will work with Cat5e cables over shorter lengths too. The receiver uses Power-Over-Cable (PoC) technology so it receives its power from the transmitter using the Cat5e/Cat6 ethernet cable. Includes USB Micro B power cable and USB mains power adaptor.
